The Tamar Trophy
Bowood Park - 21st October
The 4th annual Tamar Trophy competition took place at Bowood Park Golf Club. The format was Cornwall v Rest of the World. 40 Captains braved the elements. There was heavy rain for most of the day. The two Captains were Tony Pope for the Cornish and Dave Dungate for Rest of the World. Unfortunately, the Cornishmen could not handle their own weather!!! The Rest of the World won 6 matches to the Cornishmen 5 matches. However, the weather did not deter the spirit of the Captain's after the match.
