Cornwall Golf Captains

 The 51st annual home traditional tour took place as usual over three days. The first days match was held at Newquay Golf Club. The weather was warm with little breeze. The second days match was held at Mullion Golf Club. Unfortunately the weather was horrendous and the match was reduced to 9 holes. The third days match was held at Carlyon Bay. Unfortunately it rained all afternoon but the match was over 18 holes. Overall the Cornwall Captains won on Monday and Tuesday but lost on Wednesday.

We now look forward to the away fixture in September.

The final day evening dinner was attended by 52 members from both Counties and enjoyed by a well served meal by the golf club staff with the usual banter from both sides.
